We also provide "end-to-end" service where we order, receive, install, update and configure your new system for you. Your computer is fully functional when you take it home (all you have to do is to plug it in)!

We can also help you transfer data from your old computer to your new computer, with the advantage of having a SPOC (single point of contact). We will work with you "one-on-one" to answer all your questions and will help you get the products you need. After you have purchased a new system, we can protect your personal information by deleting data from your old computer and help you in recycling your used equipment.

- Your Original Invoice/receipt is required for all returns.
All returns/exchanges must be in original condition, include all accessories and packing material. All returns are to be made at the place of purchase. BizTek reserves the right to ask for identification. BizTek reserves the right to deny any return unless prohibited by law.
- 14-day return period
We accept returns or exchanges 14 days from the original purchase on unopened computers, monitors, notebook computers, computer parts and accessories.
- Restocking fee and Opened or Special Order Items
A restocking fee of 20% will be charged on all computer equipment and peripherals including opened notebook computers unless defective or prohibited by law (equipment older than 30 days are non-returnable) returned with original packing and all accessories. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged on equipment not returned with original packing or all accessories. BizTek reserves the right to deny opened item returns based on equipment condition etc unless prohibited by law. Special Order Products are non-refundable and non-returnable unless defective or prohibited by law.
- Refund method
Refund will be in the same form as original purchase. Exceptions: Cash, debit or check purchases over $150 will be refunded in the form of a mail check within 15 business days of return.
- Non-returnable items
Non-returnable items include labor and/or installation services. Items that are damaged, abused and accidently damaged (spills, power surge etc.,) are non-returnable. Opened computer software, can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund.

Services

Unfortunately, due to the nature of technology and this business, "on-site" services
will not always be available because of cost considerations. Services such as malware detection, software installation and many hardware & software diagnostic operations commonly take hours for a system to process, thus resulting in "idle" time. Completing something of that sort "on-site" would result in charges representing the full time spent at the said site.

The reasoning behind this is simple; As an "on-site" service, I must remain present from start to finish, limiting me to one job. If a service is being performed "in-shop" I can occupy that "idle" time with another task.

How does this benefit you? If your PC is "in-shop" for servicing, you will only be charged for the time actually spent working on your PC.

Hardware:

- Troubleshooting & diagnostics on all PC brands & models.

Whether your PC is an eMachines or custom built by your uncle Joe, it's welcome here. Epic Repair services any and all brands & models out there.

- Detection, removal & replacment of defective hardware.

Be it a failing hard drive or loopy power supply, it will be detected and replaced.

- Operating system reinstallation & configuration.

Want to upgrade your operating system? Perhaps you're just fed up with accumulative issues and you want yours reinstalled. It can all be done here.

- Program installations & upgrades.

Whether you need the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite or an updated version of your security software Epic Repair will install it for you.

Sometimes a new PC really isn't in order, your old one might just need a "tune up". That's right, just like vehicles need regular maintenance, as do computers. Epic Repair will listen to your needs and optimize your entire system. Excess junk will be kicked to the curb and software settings will be configured to perfection.

- Data recovery from corrupt and unbootable partitions.

If your system won't boot anymore and you have valuable data within that operating system's partition, the data can nearly always be extracted to an external device. The operating system will be reinstalled and your data will be copied over to the fresh partition.

Prices

The minimum charge for any service is one hour unless otherwise noted. Beyond that, typically, charges are applied in quarter-hour increments.

The figures below represent standard business days and hours only. For service between 9PM and 9AM, an additional $20/hr will be applied.

"In-shop" Diagnostics, Repair & Upgrades: $40/hr

"In-shop" Diagnostics, Repair & Upgrades is what the majority of services fall under. This service is limited to "in-shop" repairs, where you bring your PC to me and pick it up upon completion. It includes anything from dusting the inside of a PC's case to disassembling a laptop and replacing it's motherboard. You can almost bet that what you're looking to have done will fall under this category.

As noted above, the minimum charge for this service is one hour, which is $40. After that, charges will be applied in quarter hour increments ($10).

"On-site" Diagnostics, Repair & Upgrades: $70/hr

Is your schedule too hectic to drop your system off at my place? I can come to you at an additional charge. This service may not always be available and certain situations may occur where a system cannot be fully serviced "on-site". In these situations, I will bring the PC with me and return it upon completion. If I do have to bring the system with me, you will be charged for any time spent "on-site", with a minimum charge of $70. Any services provided "in-shop" there-after will follow the '"In-shop" Diagnostics, Repair & Upgrades' guidelines above.

Shuttle Service: $30

If you cannot get your PC to me, and yet do not want the full "on-site" service, I can schedule a pick-up time and shuttle your components back and forth. This is generally a flat fee of $30, however, it is subject to change considering the distance I am required to travel and the ever-increasing fuel prices.

Consultation & Custom Component Seeking: $20/hr

Interested in learning how to upgrade your own PC or maybe just learn your way around Microsoft Word? Need us to seek and select the perfect PC components for you? From teaching you how to upgrade your RAM to showing you the basics of word processing and creating a custom blueprint for a new PC, this fee applies to you.

Upon contacting me, I will assess your needs and give you a quote which will vary on the hour and whether or not your PC will be serviced "in-shop" or "on-site".

If you decide to have your PC serviced, we will schedule an appointment. You will make the initial payment and I will begin diagnosing/repairing your system.

If there are any additional fees or charges which halt the repairing process (replacement of a component for instance), you will be notified. Only when the okay is given will I continue with the procedure.

Our exchange will be complete once the final bill has been paid and of course, after you are satisfied.
